View the detailsCentralized Tasks for Collaborators – Connected Experience Across the Point Teams and Web App 2023.2
Without a collaborative governance solution in place, your end users will face significant challenges and complexity every day when performing actions such as creating workspaces or sending access requests. On the flip side, your IT team will spend most of their time solving support tickets for each and every one of them. Syskit Point empowers admins to set up various policies and workflows and enable non-IT business users to check their workspaces or request new ones at any time and verify or manage internal and external user permissions, memberships, and sharing.
As Syskit Point can send various tasks to end users – governance collaborators, we wanted to centralize all these tasks in the Point web app. So now all the access and workspace requests they receive such as access reviews, lifecycle management, and other tasks will all be in one place; the Point web app, so they can be faster and more efficient. They can still do small tasks such as access request approvals in the Point Teams app.
Provisioning – Choose a Custom Site URL 2023.2
When end users want to create a new site – they can send a new provisioning request through the Point Teams app. From now on, while doing that, they will be able to also set up their site URL. This is usually only available for admins through the admin center, but now Point enables end users to do it easily. So, if they need a longer, more descriptive site name, they can use it and they can easily make a site URL shorter, remove spaces, etc. If the URL is already taken, the interface will inform them so that they can adjust it. After they add their site admins, members, and other details, they just send the request for approval.
Syskit Point Now Supports GCC High Tenants 2023.1.2
Syskit Point now supports Microsoft 365 US Government Community Cloud High environments (as well as GCC tenants)! Microsoft 365 GCC High customers can now deploy our platform the same way as Microsoft 365 Commercial customers. Syskit Point empowers admins with a secure management platform to help them enable safe collaboration, protect data, and stay compliant with various regulations.
Distribution Lists and Security Groups added to the Group Memberships report 2023.2
So far in Syskit Point, we’ve supported Microsoft 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint sites, and other workspaces, and now on top of that, we added distribution lists and security groups providing an even better overview for admins. Now in the Group Memberships reports, you will be able to see those groups and explore members for each of them.
UX Improvement – On-Premises Security Groups 2023.2
Syskit Point detects all your security groups, including those on-premises that you synced to Azure. We wanted to help you easily distinguish those on-prem groups from cloud ones in reports, so they now have a refreshed look. You won’t be able to manage those as they are not cloud groups, but they will be visible to you in Point reports.
