We are pleased to announce SPDocKit 9! We’ve made a special effort with this release to create powerful and drillable dashboards which provide an at-a-glance overview of your farm configuration settings, analytics trends, auditing and security actions. SPDocKit 9 comes with a completely new set of document analytics, search analytics, and storage reports. Check it out!
Get started in under 2 minutes!
Search Analytics Report9.0
Many users tend to search randomly instead of navigating purposefully around your pages. To get the most out of your farm and increase productivity, you need to ensure that they find what they are looking for. Search Analytics report shows the total number of searches for each of your farms over the last 7 days. See how many searches have failed (i.e. ended up with no results or were abandoned with no clicks) and the number of unique users performing the searches.
You can easily see the trends and how these numbers change week by week. SharePoint out-of-the-box keeps this data for 14 days; now you will have the data for a longer period because SPDocKit will keep it for you.
Farm and Database Growth Reports9.0
Keep track of farm storage usage through time and get a more accurate prediction of future usage trends. Manage your resources wisely by estimating how much disk space you will need and check how fast the content of the entire farm grows.
Farm Growth report will show you the total size and amount of space used by all service and content databases per farm. A chart will show you the relationship between the farm’s data size and the amount of space actually used for storing data.
Database Growth report will show you the amount of space used by service and content databases on a farm for data files stored on disk and the amount of data they actually contain. You will also see the log file sizes and the total size of databases.
Document Analytics Report9.0
Get an overview of which content is the most popular and where is it located inside your farm to optimize your site structure. Having good insight into your users’ behavior and what they find relevant helps you build a better information architecture.
Review all recently viewed documents on a site collection as well as a number of document views or edits. For each document, there will be an overview of all performed actions (view, open, edit, update, etc.), who performed it, and when. In addition, now you can easily find the list of the most popular documents for any selected time period.
Document Size Report9.0
Identify the biggest documents and see how your space is being used. This report will show your top 1000 documents that are larger than 50MB or that have more than 50 versions. Detect if users are uploading huge documents or some unwanted extensions to document libraries or if there are excessive document versions, which may eat up your storage and slow down performance.
The farm dashboard highlights some important configuration data. Instantly, you will see the number of servers, web applications, and site collections and can drill to a specific report to find more detailed information.
List top content databases by storage as well as site collections by their size. Check the number of health issues related to farm configuration, security, availability, and other areas to ensure your SharePoint environment is kept in optimal condition. Find the exact number of deployed farm solutions and then drill down to see where they are deployed. Check how many best practices checks are failing, browse through them easily and fix what’s needed.
Audit Logs Dashboard9.0
To keep your data secure and keep track of all important changes and actions, we have created a set of SharePoint audit reports. This version brings a drillable dashboard that gives you a summarized overview of audit actions in the last 7 days. Instantly identify site collections with enabled auditing, monitor how many new SharePoint groups were created, or if permission inheritance was broken.
Detect the top users on your farm or if any suspicious actions have been performed on your farm content. Keep an eye on deleted content and monitor total document views through these 7 days. Keep an eye on changes in Central Administration by monitoring top 5 administrative actions performed on the farm.
